CoCo Chanel French Inspired Bridal Shower

I had the pleasure of working with client Jeanette who was throwing a bridal shower for her sister. She decided to use the CoCo Chanel Inspired Bridal Shower from the Creative Outlook Designs’ Etsy store. She ordered not only invitations but she purchased the menu cards, escort cards, thank you cards and sign. I always love when a customer shares their photos. Jeanette hired photographer, Whitney Kidder from Paper Moon Photography NYC. She did an amazing job at capturing the details of this event. We can’t take credit for all the stationery products, but I wanted to share and inspire anyone who loves the Coco Chanel / Parisian / Pink Inspired theme and wants to plan this type of them for their next event. 50th Wedding Anniversary Invitations

Within the past six months, I have been asked to do three 50th wedding anniversary invitations. This type of celebration is remarkable and wonderful because a couple married that long deserves to celebrate their union with family, friends and those who have been a part of their lives for so many years.

The 50th wedding anniversary invitation I’m sharing captures the essence of the couple love of style, sophistication and true elegance. Creative Outlook Designs kept the color of the invitation gold to represent the “50th Golden Anniversary”, but kept it modern. This couple is definitely young at heart.

The invitation is a 7×7 square invite embellished with satin ribbon and crystal buckle. The invitation along with the RSVP card are enclosed within a vellum jacket. Any guest receiving this invitation will truly be wowed!!

Wild Wild West Theme Fundraiser Invitation

Don’t you just love it when a happy client comes back again to use your services. I worked with Villa Maria Academy last year to design their Denim & Diamonds Theme Fundraiser Invitation. Creative Outlook Designs was excited to hear that this year they changed their theme to the Wild Wild West. My client wanted something fun, relaxed and that captured the theme of the party. At the event, there will be mechanical bulls, tasty vittles, plaid decorations, a live and silent auction and everything that says “Hoe Down” fun.

The invitation chosen was a brown invitation with a back pocket to hold the sponsorship information, the event details and RSVP card and envelope. The back pocket was lined with a red plaid to add a little flavor to our invitation.

Around the World Graduation Party

This party was truly a labor of love. Once I decided my family would throw my oldest son a graduation party, I need to come up with a theme. Choosing a theme for a young man was no easy task, but after throwing around several different theme ideas, we decided on Around the World Graduation Party. In the past, he has expressed his love for travel and what better way to announce a graduation party!

We choose a great color combination — orange and blue. Below are photos of the Around the World theme party that showcases the passport invitation and stationery designed and printed by Creative Outlook Designs.

Several paper products were created for this event — banner, table number cards, tassels, candy bar sign, candy bar tags, cupcake holders, menu card. All the paper stationery designed tied together with the theme nicely.

We also choose to do suitcase table centerpieces. We purchased blank kraft suitcases that we embellished ourselves with vintage stickers and theme scrapbook papers. Each table had its own table number and different theme. Globe, orange and blue balloons were added to each centerpiece.

The cake was done by a local baker, Creative Style Cakes. The cake was not only a work of art but it was delicious! The catering and cupcakes were done by a dear friend PStarr Catering. Look out for PStarr Catering in 2012. She is doing a line of custom couture cupcakes favors and gifts!!!

The party was a huge success!! We not only had fun designing this event — we enjoyed the actual event as well.

A Huge 2011 Thank You

I want to thank all my clients for a wonderful 2011. It has truly been a blessing to work with so many wonderful clients; collaborating and designing their custom stationery products. Whether it was a wedding, corporate event, graduation, sweet sixteen or baby shower, etc., we were able to deliver an unique product that suited their event’s vision and/or personality.

In 2011, Creative Outlook Designs was able to revamp their production process, add several unique and different paper products and embellishments to our inventory and designs some unique and interesting stationery products, some of which can now be purchased on our Etsy store.

In 2012, we plan to our share exciting news as it happens since we have finally completed our new web site/blog. Please feel free to browse our new gallery.

Cirque de Bebe Baby Shower

A little over a year ago, friends and I hosted a shower for a party planner who knew about the shower but needed to be surprised with the theme. She just love theme showers! We decided early on that a Cirque de Bebe baby shower would work well for either a boy or girl. We were inspired by the shower showcased on Hostess with the Mostess. As you can see, a lot of paper details were used to help carry out the theme. It was a lot of fun designing the guestbook, popcorn stand, coming up with a menu with PStarr Catering, and of course what started it all was the invitation. The invitation set the tone for the entire event and we carried the theme to the end with the thank you cards. Everyone had a wonderful time especially our guest of honor.
