Winter Wonderland Bling Sweet 16 Party

Our motto is “a memorable event begins with the perfect invitation.” This holds true after attending this event for a wonderful event planner. The client had a concept for the entire event and I was happy I was able to deliver an invitation design to match her vision. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Branding your Wedding

Choosing a theme can be the hardest thing for a person to decide upon, because when it comes to talking about ourselves, we sometimes cannot find the right words. First, let us define what an “event theme” is?

An event theme is that which defines you and adds that extra touch to your wedding event that guests will remember. It can be compared to accessorizing your event and adding your personal signature touch. I often think of your wedding theme as showcasing and branding a part of your personality for your big event.

An exercise that I often recommend to brides to do is take a piece of paper and write down the answers to the following questions:

-What is your favorite color?
-What are your interests and hobbies?
-What is your favorite book, movie, music, etc.?
-What types of foods or desserts do you enjoy?
-Is there a story behind how you met your fiancé?
-What is your favorite place to visit?

Whatever you wrote on the piece of paper – Look at it! Study it! The theme you want is starring right back at you!!

You can also discuss what you have written down with your closest friends and family members to see what they think. Sometimes the people around you notice things about you that you may have never even thought of. Then, when you are ready to begin planning your big day and feel that you have gathered enough information about yourself and your fiancé, contact an invitation designer and/or wedding planner who will help you to finalize and bring your theme to life. As an invitation designer, we meet with our clients and help them bring the paper side of their event to life. We can create your design based on whether it is photo, an unique item or you need an unique design for a monogram. We offer phone, email or in studio consultations. Feel free to contact us at 866-611-1651 or

Remember, you may need a few weeks to gather information for your theme, so give yourself enough time to plan. This is just the first step, but it is the most exciting element of your wedding that will make it memorable.

CoCo Chanel Inspired Baby Shower

Creative Outlook Designs had the pleasure of working Arrica from One Fab Event on such a sophisticated and classy shower. We designed all the paper stationery — cupcake toppers, Coco Chanel Photo props and signage, banners, pearls, handbags, bar menu, including the t-shirt for No. 1 big sister.

Candyland Theme Sweet 16 Party

I just love when my client share their amazing photos from their event. The Candyland Sweet 16 Party theme began with the invitation and it was continued with the table number and lollipop place cards. The event planner did an amazing job with the decor and especially the candy land sweet 16 signage! Amazing photos are courtesy of LasSana Photography.

Wynda & Trent’s Old Hollywood Wedding

It is always a pleasure to work with client you personally know. It makes the job more rewarding knowing you were personally invovled in designing the paper details that would make their wedding day even more special. The wedding theme was Old Hollywood Glamour. The concept began with playing with a mix of texture, color and sparkle to create the elegant wedding invitation suite. We carried the Hollywood Glam theme throughout the other stationery such as the table seating chart, table number cards & signage. Kudos to the photographer Tony of

50th Wedding Anniversary Invitations

Within the past six months, I have been asked to do three 50th wedding anniversary invitations. This type of celebration is remarkable and wonderful because a couple married that long deserves to celebrate their union with family, friends and those who have been a part of their lives for so many years.

The 50th wedding anniversary invitation I’m sharing captures the essence of the couple love of style, sophistication and true elegance. Creative Outlook Designs kept the color of the invitation gold to represent the “50th Golden Anniversary”, but kept it modern. This couple is definitely young at heart.

The invitation is a 7×7 square invite embellished with satin ribbon and crystal buckle. The invitation along with the RSVP card are enclosed within a vellum jacket. Any guest receiving this invitation will truly be wowed!!

Wild Wild West Theme Fundraiser Invitation

Don’t you just love it when a happy client comes back again to use your services. I worked with Villa Maria Academy last year to design their Denim & Diamonds Theme Fundraiser Invitation. Creative Outlook Designs was excited to hear that this year they changed their theme to the Wild Wild West. My client wanted something fun, relaxed and that captured the theme of the party. At the event, there will be mechanical bulls, tasty vittles, plaid decorations, a live and silent auction and everything that says “Hoe Down” fun.

The invitation chosen was a brown invitation with a back pocket to hold the sponsorship information, the event details and RSVP card and envelope. The back pocket was lined with a red plaid to add a little flavor to our invitation.
